Post caption in header gets burred on moving groupheadercolumns Reply with quote
Hi,

it is not a big bug but it seems to be bug.
My header-example:

if i move a "normal" column everything is ok.

if i move a grouped header column then the caption of all columns gets burred and thinner

cheers, michael

Hi,

Sorry, I seem to have completely overlooked this post...

Actually, this is not a bug, it is supposed to work that way. First of all, because of the JTableHeader's UI, we cannot paint empty space, when moving group columns, like it is done with normal ones. So, we make the group being moved solid and the background opaque, like it is done in Windows Explorer. I guess we could play a bit with the transparency of the moving and static part, but the effect will be more or less the same. Not without editing the UI, that is.

Thanks

Hi,

i am not shure if you understand what i mean (due to my english).
Best is if you can test it by yourself.

I have made an enlarged screenshot:

As you can see the chars differs in some pixel.
It is not a big difference in the screenshot but it's observable if you work with the table.

I didn't mean that the bug is the empty space but the changes in the characters.

cheers, michael

Hi,

I changed the transparency of the dragged columns from alpha composite to solid.

Thanks
